Prior to William Hood & Company, Margot was Director of Strategy for The Nature’s Bounty Company, the largest pure-play manufacturer and marketer of health and wellness products in the world with over $3 billion in annual revenue. Her global role focused on M&A, Corporate Development and Strategic Asset Integration. In this capacity, she worked with Jill Staib on a variety of global projects for the company including the sale of The Nature’s Bounty Co. from The Carlyle Group to KKR, the sale of U.K. based retailer Holland & Barrett from The Carlyle Group to Letter1 Retail as well as various acquisitions and divestiture projects including the acquisitions of Active Nutrition Bar Brand Best Bar Ever and Personal Care brand Dr Organic. Margot also worked on the divestiture of certain production assets to Nellson Nutraceuticals, a portfolio company of Kohlberg & Company, as well as the divestiture of Vitamin World to Center Lane Partners.
Margot also held a variety of operating leadership roles throughout her tenure at The Nature’s Bounty Co. including managing the Osteo Bi-Flex and MET-Rx brands, as well and the companies licensed equities business, Disney and Marvel Children’s Vitamins. Margot was responsible for revitalizing Osteo Bi-Flex, the leading mass-market brand in the Joint Care category and as well as the repositioning of MET-Rx, a leading mass-market brand in the Active Nutrition category.
Prior to joining The Nature’s Bounty Co., Margot held various retail buying positions at specialty retailer Bed Bath and Beyond and has a deep understanding of the commercial viability of CPG products from both operational and buying lenses.
